A new study suggests that more than half of thewomen population are attracted to other women.

According to a latest research, it claims that it is perfectly normal that most women are naturally bi-curious when it comes to sex, and it becomes more pronounced the older they get.

Boise State University found that in a group of 484 heterosexual women, 60 per cent were sexually attracted to other women; 45 per cent had kissed a woman, and 50 pe rcent had fantasies about the same sex.

A professor of psychology at Boise State University, Elizabeth Morgan, found that straight women often feel more than a friendly affection for other women.

Other data suggests upwards of 20 percent of women are attracted to other women. It's claimed this could be linked to the way women socialise from chatting on the phone for hours to snuggling during chick flicks.

It is said that often women's friendships are barely distinguishable from romantic relationships.

"Women are encouraged to be emotionally close to each other," the Daily Mail quoted the professor as saying.

"That provides an opportunity for intimacy and romantic feelings to develop," she added.

Another psychologist, Lisa Diamond said that the older they got, the more likely they were to choose 'unlabeled', which meant that they felt their sexuality didn't fit into tidy boxes.

Who admire Dalai Lama

Bollywood celebs are making a beeline to meet Dalai Lama, who addressed the Global Buddhist Convention that happened at New Delhi yesterday. Most notable among them are actors Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan and sportsman turned actor, Leander Paes.

“The Dalai Lama has always been a person that I have admired all through my life. I have grown up reading about him. I am meeting him personally as he is in India and for that I have postponed the inauguration of my tennis academy. This is an opportunity that I did’t want to miss at any cost,” says tennis player Leander, who’ll soon make a Bollywood debut.

Aamir, too, is apparently keen to meet with the spiritual leader and Nobel prize winner to express his solidarity with his cause.

“Aamir has just been appointed as the brand ambassador for the UNICEF. He clearly wants to be associated with serious issues. Besides, Dalai Lama is a personality that he has admired right from the beginning. He wants to meet him to seek his blessings,” says a source. Hrithik, meanwhile, “has long been a follower of the Dalai Lama since his teenage years. He, too, is eager to meet his idol,” says a source.

Nargis Fakhri moves into her new apartment

 

Actor Nargis Fakhri who was more in the news for her pout, than her performance in her debut film, has finally made Mumbai her base. After her much talked about debut opposite Ranbir Kapoor, the American model-turned-actor has decided to move base here from New York. This move has apparently been made, so that she can concentrate more on her acting career. There were talks that she had made Mumbai her base, but until recently, she was put up in a small apartment. After her film released, the actor has now shifted in to her new apartment.

In fact, Nargis who regularly talks to her fans on the microblogging site Twitter, had been missing for the past couple of days. She apologised to her fans and posted, “been busy shifting2another apartment. A bigger1. be4 it seemed like i had2much stuff n no space now seems like i have nothing & alot of space.”

A source close to her says, “Nargis was looking for a bigger apartment since quite sometime now but since her movie was up for release, she didn’t have any time to look for a place. After her film’s release, the first thing she did for look for an apartment and has finally moved to her new place. She is just about settling in and though she hasn’t had the time to throw a formal house warming bash, she will soon invite over her close friends for a get-together.”

Some even say that Nargis has apparently bought this apartment and not just rented it. She may just be a film old, but considering she has endorsements that are estimated to be worth nine crores, it does not come as a surprise that she has managed to apparently buy herself an apartment in Mumbai.
