Ludhiana: Bhartiya Janata Party leader LK Advani’s Jan Chetana Yatra against corruption and inflation reached Mullanpur on Sunday. Advani was welcomed by local BJP leaders and party members.
Speaking on the occasion, Advani said that this was his sixth rath yatra and he had never seen such public support earlier. He also said that black money to the tune of about Rs 25 lakh crore was stashed away in foreign banks and if this was brought back, it would be enough to provide the basic amenities in all villages of the country.
Advani also said that he would raise the issue with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Home Minister Chidambaram and Finance Minister Pranab mukherjee in Parliament.
