Latest ‘Classpad’ tablet to help students



 
Chandigarh: After the advent of ‘Aakash’ tablet by the Ministry of HRD, a new and advanced ‘Classpad’ tablet has been launched for the relief of the students. The Class Teacher Learning Systems(CTLS) firm, on Tuesday, launched the new and improved tablet at Hotel Taj in the city. The new tablet is an improvised version of the ‘Aakash’ tablet with user friendly software for maximum output.
‘Classpad’ tablet has been launched with new softwares including mathematics lab, language lab and science lab for the students. The latest tablet promises to provide practical experience alongside the theories for the relative subjects. With the advent of the new tablet, students will no longer have to write or make notes theoretically rather it can be downloaded directly on the tablet. This feature has been added so as to save time for the students in future.
The ‘Classpad’ tablet, in relation to the various screen sizes, has been priced between Rs 6,000 to Rs 12,000. The top-end model of the tablet comes with a trolley model size for the students. A trolley model can be shared amongst 12 classes in a single day with 40 tablets available in a single trolley. The students will only have to pay Rs 100 per month while using a tablet in a trolley model. A student will be able to use the learning device for four periods in a week’s time.  
During the launch, Rohit Pandey(CEO CLTS), stated that the new tablet is a vital step to modernise the learning system for students across India. The new tablet has been introduced in selected schools in cities including Delhi, Baroda and Nagpur.
